Last week Renee and I were able to spend some time with Steve, Emily, and the ’soon-to-see-the-world’ Jackson. Emily wanted to capture some shots of her and Steve in their nursery. Let me tell you an expert designed that nursery! Full on color scheme of light blue with a slight beach feel wrapped in to boot!

After we left the nursery we made our way outside to a field of wildflowers near Green Hills. The sun was setting faster than I desired so I grabbed my speedlites and snapped a few shots of them against the golden sunset.

Afterwards they treated us out to Pei Wei which was a treat beyond measure! We had such a great time talking, when we started to finish up, we looked around to find that no one else was left but us and the kitchen staff was closing up shop! Great people we hope to spend more time with soon.

Thanks to Bobby Earle I was able to help shoot this wedding. I actually didn’t bring my gear with me! Renee and I were arrived as guests. After the bridesmaids walked out Bobby scurries down the isle with three cameras in hand and askes me if I wouldn’t mind shooting with him. I had an awesome time shooting Jena and Brian wedding out at the YMCA camp widjiwagan last week. Thanks be to Hannah Elaine for allowing me to tag along as her second shooter! Check out her blog and see what she’s got going on.

Here’s a few of my favorites… you’ll see a set of 3 photos where Brian sees Jena for the very first time in her dress, he was so taken back that he was actually speachless and stumbled over his words.

So I know… this video has the same music as the ‘Trash The Dress’ video has. Trust me, while using music twice is my not normal practice the emotion of this song is undeniably perfect for these pictures!

Reeve and Jessie live a good 2 hour drive from Nashville and I offered to shot a quick session of engagement pictures. Thanks guys for having a great time in Nashville with Renee and I!
